Syslog Server
Syslog Watcher Server is the Windows service (Syslog Watcher 7 Server, SW7Server) that runs features, reports, and remote Manager access.
It is separate from the Syslog Collector. The collector can keep receiving and storing messages while the Server is stopped. Remote Manager connections require the Server to be running.
Server Configuration
On the Server toolbar, click Server → Server Configuration….
The Server page of that window includes Remote Access (listen port and encryption). Remote Access Users are a separate window (Server toolbar → Server → Remote Access Users…).
Other pages in the same window are Syslog Archive, Syslog Reports (report output), Email Accounts, and HTTP Endpoints.
