Product Updates

The Syslog Watcher Updates window lists newer Syslog Watcher versions. Manager also checks for updates when it starts, unless Check for updates is off in Manager Settings.

Check for Updates

  1. In the General section of the main toolbar, click Updates Updates.

  2. In the list, select a version to see its changes below the list.

  3. To get a version, click Download Page to open the download website.

If Manager cannot reach the update server, it shows a warning. On a computer without Internet access, check ezfive.com/syslog-watcher/downloads/ from another computer and copy the installer over.

Install an Update

  1. Run the new installer on the server computer.

  2. Run it on every other computer that has Manager installed.

The Collector keeps running during the update unless the new version includes a newer Collector.
