Evaluation License
Request Evaluation… in the Licenses window obtains an evaluation license. When the license server can be reached, the license is installed immediately. Otherwise a request link is generated; opening that link on a computer with Internet access produces a license file to install with License File….

On the Server toolbar, click Licenses.

Click Request.
Online Request
When the request succeeds, the evaluation license is installed and selected. The Type column shows the edition with (evaluation).
Request Link (No Online Connection)
If the license server cannot be reached, Syslog Watcher reports that the operation could not be performed automatically and opens a Web Link window.
That window shows the request URL and:

Open Link — opens the URL in the default browser (use this on a computer that has Internet access)

Copy Link — copies the URL

Save Link — saves a
.urlshortcut -
A QR code (Link in QR code) for the same URL (scan from a phone or another computer)
Open the link on a system with Internet access.
The license server returns a license file (.txt).
Save that file (for example to a USB drive or a share the Syslog Watcher computer can read).
Install the License File

On the Server toolbar, click Licenses.

Click Install License → License File….

Select the
.txtfile and click Open.
The evaluation license appears in the list and is selected. See Install License for the same License File… command used with a purchased key.
Uninstall the Evaluation License
Select the evaluation license and choose Selected License → Uninstall License…. No license key is required.
