Export to Files

Syslog Watcher Manager reads messages from the syslog storage and exports them to files structuring them among subdirectories.

FORWARD TO FILES

If you need incoming syslog messages exported to files in a real-time use the Forward to Files feature.

Export Request​

An export request is a named ❶ combiantion of the date/time range ❷, an optional filter ❸, and the exporter configuration ❹.

  • No subdirectories
  • All messages are appended to the same file: syslog.txt
  • Messages are exported with minimal transformation (as collected)
